Marius' test report on the HP OMEN 32 monitor

Do you already have a monitor?

Yes. Working solely with a notebook screen is a catastrophe for the body in the long run, as I had to be taught.

How do you like the HP Omen Monitor visually?

Absolutely good. The stand is a bit bulky and the monitor obviously takes up a lot of space on the desk - but that definitely has its advantages. =) In addition, the logo on the back of the screen has something elegant. I like that.

Which functions/features particularly stand out for you?

First of all, of course, the size. It's fun to suddenly have a lot more screen space. I can easily pack several Word files side by side or research the internet at the same time and make notes without having to constantly switch between windows. I just pack them next to each other. Otherwise the image is good for my purposes and I basically just had to plug it in and get started. Perfect.

How many hours was the HP Omen Monitor used per day (average)?

Phew, that was probably 8 to 10 hours a day. When I'm at home, I do most of my work directly on the computer.

What did you primarily use the omen for? (For example, gaming, working, watching videos, etc.)

Mainly for normal work stuff: surfing, writing, Facebook, various work stuff. Then, of course, to watch a film - which is absolutely great for relaxing a bit at your desk. I even plugged in the console once, which was pretty cool. (Play for half an hour while working or studying - you can do it). Otherwise a bit of image editing. This works quite well at hobby level, but the color representation is probably not quite optimal for professional requirements.

Your personal conclusion in 5 sentences:

The Omen is absolutely fun and I'm a little sad that I have to give it back now. (The desk suddenly seems so empty...) If you have enough space for it on your desk, the monitor is absolutely premium for everyday use because of the amount of space on the screen - but you should plan for that. It certainly looks good on the wall too. A cool alternative for the console in between when you can play the sound in other ways. Unfortunately, I'm not a PC gamer - so I couldn't test it out for that, but I think it'll do well there. In terms of connections, everything essential is there - great. What else can I say? Anyone who likes numbers will find enough of that. In terms of feeling, I can only say: I want him. (Please ...)
