The moving family drama IDIOTS OF THE FAMILY, a chamber play between five siblings in a very small space, will be released on September 12th. The story
Heli (40) wants to start a new life. She is an artist, but in recent years she has been more concerned with her little sister Ginnie (26), who is mentally disabled. Now Ginnie should go to a home and her three self-centered brothers Bruno (30), Tommie (32) and Frederik (42), who have never been of any help to Heli, agree to this. Before Ginnie is brought into the home, the brothers visit again to spend time with their little sister in the idyllic little house on the outskirts of Berlin, whose mental disability is not obvious at first glance. They experience the “little baby” as an unpredictable “beast” and in the chaos they get closer to each other than expected.
