Christmas is around the corner. Many students leave their everyday student life for the holidays and spend the holidays with their loved ones. This is often combined with one or two holiday roasts, chocolate Santa Claus and many other delicacies. There isn't much time left for going to the gym. So that you can still keep moving during the holidays, we'll introduce you to nine simple fitness exercises that you can do almost anytime and almost anywhere without any problems.
Holiday Fitness Exercise #1 – Biceps Made By Christmas Shopping
Before the big Christmas party can begin, groceries have to be bought. Volunteer to take on this unpleasant task. You can use the queue in the supermarket for muscle training: simply grab the handlebar at the bottom and lift the fully packed shopping cart like a dumbbell and set it down. Tense your pelvic floor.
Fitness exercise for the holidays #2 – Exercise in the Christmas bakery
While you put the holiday roast in the oven, make the potato salad and make the punch and train your thigh muscles every now and then. To do this, simply squat slightly every now and then, hold the position for around 20 seconds and then repeat three to five times - including breaks.
Fitness exercise for the holidays #3 – Finger exercise for on the go
While the great aunt from Sauerland repeatedly talks about how everything used to be better, in addition to politely nodding, you can also inconspicuously train your chest and back muscles. To do this, simply play a game of finger hooks against yourself: press your hands together in front of your chest to work your chest muscles, interlock them and pull them apart to strengthen your back.
Fitness exercise for the holidays #4 – Move your booty at Christmas dinner
Squeezing your “butt cheeks” and letting something happen is probably part of the holidays, like saying Amen in church. This fitness exercise is quite efficient in a practical sense, because you can also train your gluteus maximus during the holidays.
Holiday Fitness Exercise #5 – Waiting for Santa Claus
Christmas time is waiting time: waiting for the next celebration, for the bus to the next celebration, for dessert, waiting for Santa Claus. With this simple fitness exercise you can easily shorten the waiting time. Stand for 15 seconds, sometimes on one leg and sometimes on the other (with your eyes open or closed). This trains balance and strengthens the body.
Fitness exercise for the holidays #6 – Doubly fit through Christmas
This fitness exercise is good for your knees, hips and back. Grab a relative, friend or holiday ally you trust. Hold your hands together and squat together with your back straight - make sure you don't knock down the Christmas tree. Choose the distance between you so that you feel tension in your arms.
Holiday Fitness Exercise #7 – Tense for Christmas
It feels like you've been sitting at the table for hours and all your escape routes have been cut off, so soon you won't be able to get away from here. With this fitness exercise you can use the time wisely and train your thighs. While sitting, press your thighs outwards and hold firmly against them with your hands. This stimulates muscle building and promotes blood circulation.
Fitness exercise for the holidays #8 – Kicking for the presents
Always in order, one after the other. If this is how you open presents at home, you can pass the waiting time by standing on your tiptoes every now and then. Up and down again. This will do your veins and calves something good.
Fitness exercise for the holidays #9 - lifting presents
Christmas is over and the Christmas fat is there despite the many small fitness exercises in between. Grab the problem by the horns and use your presents to declare war on Christmas bacon. These are a great substitute for dumbbells, especially if you got thick tomes for college for Christmas. Karl Marx's capital is then twice as valuable.
