Working in the Internet of Things

Every year, digital developments and achievements offer new job prospects that are particularly interesting for today's students. After all, it is much more relevant for students which skills will be sought in five years than which skills will be sought today. The “job and career at CeBIT” is the right place to find out about these developments in the industry, recruiting and career planning. The trade fair will take place from March 16th to 20th at the Hanover exhibition center in Hall 9.

BITKOM President Prof. Dieter Kempf is of the opinion that the digitalization of the manufacturing industry is of vital importance for the competitiveness of the German economy. This means nothing other than that in exactly this environment there will probably be many job opportunities for today's students in the future. So if you want to keep up with the times, you should specialize in the so-called “Industry 4.0”, or the Internet of Things, during your studies.

Development is still in its early stages and, above all, many companies are not yet aware of the diverse possibilities of the constantly developing technologies. But the federal government expects increased value creation potential of 78 billion euros through the developments of the Internet of Things by 2025, particularly for the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive, chemical, agricultural and telecommunications sectors. Which in plain language means: More economic opportunities and therefore more jobs for future university graduates.

Anyone who would like to find out more about these developments should visit the “job and career at CeBIT” from March 16th to 20th and inquire on site. That's why we're giving away 50 free day tickets to the first 50 participants. To win, simply send us a short email with the keyword CeBIT to gewinnspiel@uniglobale.de .

We keep our fingers crossed for you and wish you a lot of fun at CeBIT. You can find more information about CeBIT here .
